...is tomorrow. i found this out when i went to visit the 'Preston Illustration' blog. on the website there is a section about the possible meanings behind doodles and many of mine seem to make sense. i suppose it is like analysing dreams really. doodling is like keeping a diary except you are writing with doodles and not words or sometimes you may use words but words that are not of a structured nature. aye.
...like i did when i was about ten or so. i love the rules of colouring in. i never liked colouring outside the lines. i was never that adventurous. at the moment i am breaking the rules of coluring in. we have been set a one week project to create a 'zine. the plan was to use the robotington button story but then decided that it would be best if i didn't write about his sad story anymore. i didn't go and spend forever in the library either like normal. me and Andy only went for about half hour or get a book about 'zines which in the end wasn't there. after quite a few hours spent thinking and phaffing, i decided to use the eco-robotingtons and doodle all over them to make a zine. it is a one week project after all and the idea seems to be working. the pencil crayons and other favourite drawing items are out on the desk. i have also made a silk screen of the eco-robotingtons and have made some postcards. Magda helped me mix the colours though i could have cried into them while doing so as i started to stress out. i need to stop being scared of colour that's why the crayons are out. i used them for life drawing on Tuesday as well. i drew the outline of the model more than colouring the skin tone but it was good to get scribbley and wild with the crayons. i made quite a bit of drawing on the paper noise but it was fun and i enjoyed it.
